Domino2
From BCDS
2009 Maura came all the way over from Eire to compete at the nationals with her young dog Domino. Like many of us, Maura is used the working on the roads. Domino worked perfectly behind the carriage until he got on the obedience course on the grass, when he clearly thought it was time for a play and decided to go to meet the very attractive retriever who was our distraction dog for the day. Unfortunately, this meant he failed this exercise, but Maura still drove the intended 12 miles and horse Zidane took best condition horse from a strong field and a highly experienced equine vet. This somewhat made up for the disappointment with the dog! (Note the Domino tribute shirts!)
Later in 2009 Maura returned to compete again in the SE Regional Trials - this time Domino qualified as a Bronze Carriage Dog.
2010 Domino qualified as a Silver Carriage Dog and came 2nd in his class.
